M and M-10 Paintstiks are perfect for marking during annealing and heat-treating processes. They can be used for welds, ingots, castings, forgings, and annealed parts. The Paintstiks can mark at room temperature and can withstand temperatures of up to 1800°F (982°C). The M Paintstik is specifically designed to withstand temperatures of up to 1600°F (871°C).
These Paintstiks are sturdy and will not come off when submerged in oil or water baths. They come in a convenient size of 11/16" diameter x 4-3/4" length. To use the Paintstiks effectively, it is recommended to use them with the #101 and #102 holder.
